April Smith, PharmD, MA, BCPS

April received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Creighton University in 2007 and went on to complete her pharmacy practice residency at The Nebraska Medical Center in 2008.  In 2009, April is now Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and is an asset to our bariatric surgical team.  April helps each patient by obtaining a full medication history from patients in pre-op and continues to work with them during their post-op follow-up.  She also serves as a pharmacotherapeutic resource for nurses, surgeons, primary care physicians and any other health care professional involved in the care of the bariatric population.
